Skechers Slip-ins or slip-ons: what is the difference?

Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins use a specially designed heel entry so you can step into the shoe without pulling the back into place. A regular slip-on or stretch-laced shoe does not automatically have this feature. Look for the full Hands Free Slip-ins name on the exact model you are buying.

Look for the entry technology, not just the laces

A shoe can look laceless or have elastic laces without being a Hands Free Slip-ins model. Skechers describes Slip-ins by its engineered heel construction. The selected Ultra Flex 4.0 and GO WALK 8 Nadia styles also include the brand’s Heel Pillow.

Ultra Flex 4.0 150801-MVE has a stretch-knit upper and Air-Cooled Memory Foam. Ultra Flex 4.0 Midnight Sparkle 150805-BKRG is a laceless Slip-ins style with a stretch-knit upper. Choose the closure and finish you prefer after checking the entry feature.

How GO WALK fits into the comparison

GO WALK is a walking range, while Slip-ins describes how you put the shoe on. The GO WALK 8 Nadia 125925 shown here combines both. GO WALK Now Nikkie 125640-MVE has stretch laces and Goga Mat cushioning, but its official product description does not identify it as Hands Free Slip-ins.

If hands-free entry is your priority, choose one of the explicitly labelled Slip-ins styles below rather than relying on the GO WALK name or product photograph alone.

Check the fit of the exact pair

Entry convenience and fit are separate decisions. Choose from the UK sizes shown on your selected product and check that the heel and forefoot feel secure and comfortable. Stretch Fit describes the upper’s sock-like feel; it is not a promise that the shoe will fit every foot width.

If you are unsure about the size or width, contact us with the full model code before ordering.

Compare the current selection

Open a product to see its current price and available UK sizes. Styles are grouped by the feature described above.

Each displayed shoe has at least four distinct UK sizes that currently pass the stock and availability checks. Size labels and prices belong to the exact variants shown; availability can change.

Questions shoppers ask

Are all Skechers slip-on shoes hands-free?

No. Hands Free Slip-ins is a specific design. An ordinary slip-on shape or elastic laces alone do not establish it.

Do all GO WALK trainers have Slip-ins?

No. Check the exact model. GO WALK 8 Nadia 125925 is labelled Slip-ins; the GO WALK Now Nikkie 125640 in this edit is not.

Does Stretch Fit mean the same thing as Slip-ins?

No. Stretch Fit describes a stretchy, sock-like upper. Slip-ins describes the hands-free entry design. Some shoes combine the two.
